2 bros. pizza

I can't leave New York without paying tribute to what I consider a NYC institution - 2 Bros. Pizza.  It seems that Lombardi's - the oldest pizzeria in the US - and Grimaldi's - under the Brooklyn Bridge and touted as the best pizza in New York - get all the glory when it comes to pizza selection (I personally think Lombardi's is the better pizza between the two), but you shouldn't overlook this tiny chain that is dotted around the city. The pizza from 2 Bros. gives any pizzeria a run for their money - the dough is soft and crisp at the same time, the sauce is super fresh, and the cheese is always cooked to gooey perfection.  All that and each giant slice is only $1.

  1. It's only a dollar a slice!?!? That's such a great deal. I for sure have to try this place out if I should ever return to NYC again.
